For our production site in Alphen aan den Rijn, we are currently recruiting a Project & Process Engineer to join our Engineering & Maintenance Department. The Project Engineer will report to the Technical & Facility Manager together with two other Process Engineers and the Maintenance Coordinator. The Project Engineer will be responsible for executing projects for the site and will also be tasked with execution of strategic CAPEX projects and improvements. The Project engineer will work with cross functional teams leveraging their knowledge to ensure success.
Key Responsibilities
Accountable for developing and managing planning, prioritisation and communication of allocated projects.
Ensures effective and efficient regular formal and informal communications with the various project teams and management.
Develops technical solutions to complex problems across a diverse scope where analysis of a situation or data is required to identify the route cause.
Executing project plans and ensuring adherence to plans and budgets.
Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract.
Qualifications
Required
Minimum a Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical and or electrical).
Preferably 3 years proven experience working in a project role in a manufacturing environment.
Experience managing suppliers for equipment development and manufacture.
Skills you need to succeed
Project management and prioritisation.
Hands on ability to analyse and solve complex problems.
