Part of Caesars Entertainment, ZeroFlucs creates the software that makes the sports betting industry tick. Our flagship product is a platform for providing Same-Game based pricing, but we also provide content generation, odds aggregation and other trading automation services.
Role Description
We're hiring a software engineer! Based primarily in Brisbane, QLD - with an office in Teneriffe, the ZeroFlucs engineering team are responsible for end to end delivery of sports betting solutions - from design and development, to deployment and operational support. You'll be interacting with data scientists, traders and customers in multiple time-zones to deliver solutions that need to be rock solid, reliable and performant.
General Qualifications
- Computer Science, Programming, and Software Development skills
- Experience with Back-End Development and Object-Oriented Programming languages
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with agile management tools, such as Asana.
Specific Technologies & Experience
Whilst not required, experience in the following technologies will be highly preferred:
- Experience in the wagering and gaming industry.
- Golang programming
- GraphQL
- GRPC
- Kubernetes
- NoSQL Databases (Scylla, Cassandra, Mongo or similar)
- Python & Data Science
- Terraform & DevOps Tooling
- Cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, OCI or others)
