Java Software Engineer

Position: Java Developer / Engineer

Position Type: Contract (Hybrid)

Location: Stockholm, Sweden

Job Description:

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
• Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 6+ years of experience with Information Technology.

Preferred

• Experience in Java and Spring as Primary.
• Technical expertise

o Java, Spring Boot, JBoss, MySQL, Apache Artemis (messaging), SIP (telephony signaling)

o Devops: GitHub, GitHub Actions, (Artifactory), ZAP (security scanning), Postman (API testing)

o Infrastructure & Any open Cloud: Kubernetes, Rancher, Amazon EKS, Amazon EC2, Amazon RDS

o Observability & Monitoring: Grafana, OpenSearch

o Streaming & Messaging: Kafka

o Networking & Web Servers: Apache

• Familiar with latest trends in industry from technology and domain standpoint
• Experience and good understanding of IT SDLC lifecycle phases. Through understanding Agile principles and practices
• Strong business process/system analytical skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to interact with technical and functional staff at all levels.
• Creative, innovative and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Team Player
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
