We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Sales Account Executive to drive growth and manage strategic client relationships within the Spanish life sciences market. This role offers the opportunity to join a fast-growing company working with pharmaceutical teams across Europe, delivering omnichannel engagement solutions, content, data services, and a newly launched subscription-based AI insights platform.
The role is ideal for a commercially driven professional with a strong pharmaceutical sciences background, who thrives in consultative, relationship-led sales.
Key responsibilities:
Strategic Sales Execution
• Develop and execute a targeted sales strategy to grow the assigned market
• Identify, prioritise, and develop opportunities with pharmaceutical, consumer health, and medical device companies
• Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery to negotiation and closing
• Collaborate closely with internal teams and selected partners to deliver integrated solutions
Revenue Growth
• Achieve and exceed individual revenue targets for new business and account expansion
• Grow existing accounts by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities across services and platform offerings
• Build a strong, sustainable pipeline aligned with the company’s growth objectives
Client Engagement
• Act as a trusted commercial partner to pharmaceutical stakeholders, understanding their business objectives and challenges
• Lead high-quality client meetings, presentations, and negotiations
• Represent the company at relevant industry events, conferences, and client engagements
• Build long-term relationships that support repeat business and account growth
Operational Excellence
• Use CRM and data-driven tools to manage pipeline, forecasting, and client interactions
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activity and opportunities
• Provide regular reporting and market feedback
• Actively contribute to the development and refinement of sales processes and best practices
Qualifications, Experience and Key Competencies:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience in the life sciences sector
• Industry knowledge: Strong understanding of pharmaceutical environments and commercial dynamics
• Language Skills: Native Spanish proficiency and working proficiency in English
• Track record: Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed revenue targets in a competitive, consultative sales environment
• Strong consultative selling skills and ability to build credibility with senior stakeholders
• Commercial mindset with a clear focus on results and revenue ownership
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to operate autonomously while benefiting from close coaching and feedback
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
• Curious, adaptable, and eager to learn new products and solutions
