Role: Java Software Engineer

Job Description:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based microservices using modern backend frameworks and cloud-native principles.
• Lead end-to-end delivery across software development, testing, CI/CD automation, deployment, monitoring, and production support.
• Collaborate closely with product, architecture, and engineering teams to drive technical decisions, mitigate risks, and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Contribute to system reliability, scalability, performance optimization, and engineering best practices.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across development processes, tooling, and platform capabilities.

Technical Requirements

• Strong experience with Java (Java 17+) and modern enterprise application frameworks.
• Solid expertise in microservices architecture and cloud-native application development.
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Proficiency with relational and/or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, Cosmos DB, or similar technologies.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies including TDD, integration testing, and performance testing.

Experience & Leadership

• Hands-on software engineering experience in enterprise or large-scale distributed systems environments.
• Proven ability to independently own and deliver complex services or technical domains.
• Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to engineering standards, code quality, and development best practices.
• Strong decision-making skills with the ability to balance scalability, quality, delivery timelines, and business priorities.
• Excellent collaboration and stakeholder communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in agile and fast-paced engineering environments.
• Exposure to cloud platforms and modern DevOps practices.
• Relevant technical certifications are a plus, but not mandatory.
