An early-stage, venture-backed AI startup is hiring its first dedicated Account Executive to help scale from early traction to breakout growth.

This company is attacking a massive, outdated industry with generative AI and already generating significant revenue with a very lean team. The founders have proven product-market fit, demand is strong, and the next phase is building a repeatable enterprise sales motion.

This is not a role where you inherit a mature playbook. You will help build it.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through close
  • Run a high volume of demos and customer conversations with qualified buyers
  • Build pipeline through outbound, referrals, conferences, partnerships, and creative hunting
  • Work directly with the founder on messaging, positioning, pricing, and sales process
  • Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals across executives, operations, legal, compliance, and procurement
  • Help turn a successful founder-led motion into a scalable GTM engine

What They’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of true full-cycle AE experience in complex B2B SaaS, AI, or fintech environments
  • Proven quota attainment with measurable ARR results
  • Experience scaling alongside a fast-growth startup environment
  • Strong hunter mentality with the ability to self-source pipeline
  • Comfortable operating without heavy SDR support or rigid structure
  • Consultative, ROI-driven seller who can lead executive-level conversations
  • Thrives in high-velocity environments and enjoys building from zero

Preferred Background

  • Startup or early-stage company experience
  • Experience selling into regulated industries, operations teams, or financial workflows
  • Conference/event-driven pipeline generation experience
  • Strong outbound instincts and ownership mentality

Compensation

  • Base: $100K–$150K
  • Uncapped commission
  • Equity included
  • Top performers can significantly exceed OTE

Location

  • Manhattan, NYC
  • In-office role (4–5 days/week)
