Senior Frontend Developer

We're recruiting a Senior Frontend/Full-stack engineer for our client in Central Stockholm.

The Opportunity

You'll be working with a rapidly growing FinTech company building portfolio management and reporting software for financial institutions across the Nordics. Their customers operate in a regulated, high-trust environment where data accuracy, correctness, and performance are non-negotiable.

This is a frontend-leaning fullstack role on the team building their analytics, reporting, and intelligence product turning complex multi-asset financial data into interfaces that feel clear, usable, and trustworthy. Tech stack includes Angular, Typescript, Node, Java and GCP.

What you'll work on

• Frontend features in an Angular SPA, shaping how customers see and act on their portfolios
• UI and interaction craft
• Backend contributions in Java and Node when features cut across the stack
• API design where frontend meets backend
• Quality engineering - testing, verification, observability

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in Software engineering with a focus on Frontend.
• Confident with modern Angular (or similar SPA framework) and TypeScript
• Good eye for UI design.
• Active practitioner of agentic AI development tools (Claude Code, Codex etc.)
• Fluent English speaker, located in (or relocating to) Stockholm.

Nice to have

• Formal design or UX training, or a strong portfolio of interface work
• Fintech, wealth management, or capital markets background
• Kubernetes and microservices exposure
