DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a strong Software Engineer to join our product engineering team in Stockholm (remote within Sweden possible). This role is a 50/50 split between backend and frontend development, with a strong focus on Java backend services and modern React-based web applications. You will work in a small cross-functional team owning the full product lifecycle - from design and implementation to deployment and monitoring. We believe in "you build it, you run it."
Tech Stack: Java, NodeJS, React, Typescript

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services in Java

• Build modern, scalable frontend applications using React and TypeScript

• Contribute to architectural decisions across backend and frontend

• Improve performance, scalability, and reliability of core systems

• Collaborate closely with product, design, and other engineering teams

• Participate in DevOps practices (CI/CD, monitoring, cloud deployments)

REQUIREMENTS

• Strong experience building backend systems in Java
  

• Experience building REST APIs and distributed systems

• Solid experience with React and TypeScript

• Good understanding of frontend architecture and modern web standards

• Experience working in cloud-native environments (AWS, Kubernetes is a plus)

• Experience making high-impact architectural decisions

• Fluent in English
