Role Overview
We are looking for a high-performing Account Manager with a strong hunter mindset to drive new business growth across enterprise clients in Canada. This role is focused on acquiring new logos, expanding market presence, and building strategic client relationships from the ground up, rather than managing existing accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- New Business Development (Primary Focus)- Identify, target, and acquire net-new enterprise clients across Canada
- Build and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate large accounts
- Drive the complete sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure
- Enterprise Client Acquisition -Engage with CXOs, VPs, and decision-makers in enterprise organizations
- Develop customized value propositions aligned with client needs
- Convert cold opportunities into long-term business relationships
- Pipeline & Revenue Growth- Build and maintain a strong, qualified pipeline of enterprise opportunities
- Consistently meet or exceed revenue and acquisition targets
- Track and report sales metrics, forecasts, and performance
- Market Intelligence -Stay updated on Canadian market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments
- Identify new verticals and opportunities for expansion
- Collaboration Work closely with delivery, recruitment, and leadership teams to ensure successful onboarding of new clients
- Provide feedback to improve service offerings and go-to-market strategy
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in B2B sales / business development, preferably in enterprise accounts
- Proven track record of closing new business (hunter profile)
- Strong experience in cold calling, lead generation, and prospecting
- Ability to sell into Canadian enterprise market
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience engaging with senior-level decision-makers
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable working in a high-growth environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in IT staffing, consulting, or professional services
- Existing network within Canadian enterprises
- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
