Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Python Developer to join a dynamic technology team in Sweden. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python development, backend systems, and data processing, with the ability to build scalable and high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python-based applications and services
  • Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices
  • Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and backend systems
  • Work with databases (SQL/NoSQL) for data storage and retrieval
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, frontend developers, and product teams
  • Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues
  • Implement security and data protection measures
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes
  • Work in Agile/Scrum environments and contribute to sprint planning and delivery
Required Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Python development
  • Strong proficiency in Python frameworks (Django, Flask, or FastAPI)
  • Experience with REST API development and microservices architecture
  • Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.)
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and orchestration (Kubernetes is a plus)
  • Familiarity with version control tools such as Git
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in data engineering or working with big data tools (Spark, Kafka)
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Exposure to machine learning or data analytics is a plus
  • Experience working in international or distributed teams
Education
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
