Senior Account Executive
We’re hiring a Senior Account Executive to drive growth through a mixed motion: expand existing accounts, win back lapsed customers, and execute targeted outbound into a defined Dream 100 list. This is a quota-carrying role with real autonomy and clear expectations. The role also involves identifying growth opportunities, achieving sales goals, and maintaining brand consistency in all deliverables.
Compensation: $90,000 base + $60,000 variable ($150,000 OTE, 60/40)
Location: Remote/Hybrid - Chicago, Indianapolis, St. Louis, Springfield
What This Role Must Do
Run the lapsed customer win-back motion with consistent outreach and follow-up
Execute Top Target outbound outreach with a real cadence (not random “check-ins”)
Build pipeline weekly and close business monthly
Raise the professional standard of the full sales team through disciplined execution
What This Person Must Be
A real seller with a balanced muscle: account growth + new logo acquisition
A self-starter who doesn’t need constant direction to prospect, follow up, and move deals forward
Comfortable operating across multiple motions without dropping balls
High urgency, high accountability, high professionalism with customers and internally
Organized enough to manage a territory and still run clean pipeline hygiene
What This Person Must NOT Be
A geographic replacement for a prior rep
A senior strategist—this is an execution role
Someone defined by one motion only (only farming or only hunting)
A reactive account manager waiting on inbound or “orders to show up”
Ideal Candidate Profile
Carried a $1-1.5M quota and has consistent attainment to show for it
Builds pipeline on purpose: time-blocked outbound, follow-up discipline, weekly targets
Can clearly explain pipeline math: activity → meetings → opportunities → closes
Runs a clean sales process: stage clarity, next steps, deadlines, mutual action plans
Wins back lapsed accounts using persistence, relevance, and a structured cadence
Expands accounts by uncovering new use cases, departments, events, and spend categories
Fast response time and relentless follow-up, no lead left behind
Writes crisp emails, runs tight discovery, and holds the room with HR/Marketing stakeholders
CRM competent: updates notes, tasks, and next steps like it’s part of the job, not admin
Coachability without ego: takes feedback, applies it fast, owns outcomes
