A highly established women’s apparel company with a legacy of delivering heritage brands is seeking a seasoned Account Executive to drive and expand its Women’s Off-Price Dress business.
This is not a maintenance role.
This is a revenue-driving seat.
We are looking for a strategic seller who understands volume, margin, inventory flow, and how to build profitable Special Market partnerships in a fast-moving wholesale environment.
What You’ll Own:
• Grow and aggressively expand new and existing Special Market accounts
• Identify whitespace opportunities and penetrate new channels
• Drive order placement with a sharp focus on delivery cadence, inventory turnover, and fulfillment strategy
• Analyze weekly sales performance and stock levels to influence in-season action
• Manage open to buys and gross margin analysis with confidence and precision
• Negotiate quarterly profitability and protect margin
• Execute 6-month seasonal planning in partnership with retailers
• Collaborate closely with Design and Production to align product buys with targeted markup and profit goals
• Utilize reporting tools to manage bookings, shipping, and credit exposure
• Travel to key accounts as needed
Who You Are:
• 5+ years selling to Special Market / Off-Price store accounts (women’s apparel required)
• Strong command of retail math, margin strategy, and seasonal planning
• Comfortable owning OTB conversations at the buyer level
• Advanced Excel proficiency
• A confident negotiator with strong presentation skills
• Operationally sharp — able to track selling, monitor markdown risk, and pivot quickly
