The Role
We’re hiring a Mid-Market Account Executive to own the full sales cycle for a defined territory of multifamily operators, owners, and management companies (typically 1,000 to 10,000 units). You’ll be responsible for sourcing, qualifying, demoing, and closing new logos — partnering closely with SDRs, Solutions Engineering, and Customer Success to land deals that set our customers up for long-term success.
This is a closer’s seat. You’ll carry a meaningful quota, run a disciplined pipeline, and have direct influence over how Rentable wins in the mid-market segment. If you’ve sold into property management before — and you know what it takes to navigate a multi-stakeholder deal involving operations, finance, and IT — you’ll feel right at home.
What You’ll Do
- Own the full sales cycle: prospect, qualify, demo, negotiate, and close new business with mid-market multifamily operators.
- Build and manage a healthy pipeline of 3–4x quota coverage through a mix of outbound prospecting, marketing-sourced leads, and SDR-supported outreach.
- Run discovery that uncovers real pain around deposit handling, compliance risk, resident experience, and NOI — and tie Rentable’s value back to those outcomes.
- Deliver compelling demos and ROI conversations tailored to operations, accounting, and executive stakeholders.
- Lead contract negotiations through to signed agreement, partnering with Legal and Finance as needed.
- Forecast accurately in Hubspot and contribute to a high-trust, data-driven revenue team culture.
What We’re Looking For
Required
- 3+ years in a quota-carrying closing role
- Proven track record of hitting or exceeding new-business quota.
- Strong discovery and demo skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication and the ability to navigate conversations from on-site leasing teams to C-suite.
- Self-directed and remote-ready — you can manage your own calendar, pipeline, and priorities without being micromanaged.
Strongly Preferred
- PropTech experience — you’ve sold software into multifamily, property management, or adjacent real estate verticals.
- Familiarity with PMS platforms like Yardi, RealPage, Entrata, Rent Manager, or MRI.
- Existing relationships with regional or national multifamily operators.
- Experience selling into multi-stakeholder deals involving operations, accounting, and IT.
