As a (Senior) Account Executive (d/f/m) you’re having the highest impact on our new business revenue growth while, building on your previous experiences, becoming an industry-leading expert in complex software sales.
Role Responsibilities: What you'll do
- Net New ARR: You’re responsible for bringing in net new, recurring revenue from our largest mid-market customers in Germany.
- Segment planning: You own your book of business, and you are responsible to create a pipeline in alignment with Marketing and BDR Team as well as your own outbound activities and use of your network.
- Internal collaboration: BDR’s supporting your pipe gen activities, and you work with additional internal stakeholders like Solution Engineering, Legal, Marketing, and Partnerships.
- Project management: You guide prospects through their evaluation process, influence decision criteria and support building business cases that trigger action across complex buying centers.
- Leading & Coaching: You play a crucial role in uplevelling yourself, your AE and BDR colleagues and as a result, the entire sales organization.
- You have a proven track record of 5+ years in a new biz SaaS sales role.
- You have built knowledge in complex software buying processes, including handling larger buying centers in companies with more than 100 employees.
- You have excellent qualification skills, helping you to create a need to act on a functional (HR) and company level.
- You know how to build and action territory plans and see your BDR counterparts as most valuable resource on eye level.
- You have gone through high class sales trainings, preferably MEDDIC.
- You have a high intrinsic motivation to continuously challenge yourself to become better every single day.
- You’re a hunter by heart and proactively look for ways to overachieve against your targets.
- You’re a native German speaker (or equivalent C2 level) and fluent in English (business language).
At Personio, we value in-person collaboration while also offering flexibility. This role is office-based, with 3 days per week required in your contracted office location. The remaining days can be worked from home or in the office if you prefer. In addition, you’ll have 20 Flex Days per year to work remotely from other locations.
