Job Title: Retail Account Manager - Beauty

A results-driven, body-focused beauty brand is looking for a Retail Account Manager to join their team.

In this role, you’ll partner closely with the VP of Sales to manage retail relationships, execute key programs, and uphold brand standards - while driving sell-through, supporting profitability, and helping shape the brands’ future in retail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sell-through performance through effective planning, promotions, and in-store and online execution
  • Lead the execution of retail programs, including promotions, events, launches, and merchandising initiatives
  • Partner closely with the VP of Sales on joint business planning, key initiatives, and account-level strategies
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product Development, and Operations to deliver cohesive brand storytelling and flawless execution across all retail touchpoints
  • Support day-to-day management of key retail accounts, ensuring strong communication, execution, and alignment to brand goals
  • Analyze sales and performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities and inform next steps
  • Cultivate strong working relationships with retail partners, maintaining open communication and a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach

Qualifications

  • Bring 3–5 years of experience as a Retail Coordinator or Account Manager within the beauty industry
  • Have direct experience managing Ulta and/or Sephora at the corporate level, partnering with buyers and merchants on sell-in (not store-level operations)
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the retail landscape, including promotions, merchandising, and account execution
  • Use data and insights to evaluate performance, with experience analyzing weekly sales and retail metrics
  • Operate with strong organizational skills, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Communicate clearly and effectively, building trusted relationships with internal teams and retail partners
  • Approach work with a results-driven, proactive mindset, taking ownership and following through on execution
  • Be New York City based and able to work in a hybrid model, with 3 days per week in the office
  • A Bachelor’s degree

Salary $100,000-$130,000 + Bonus
