The Enterprise Account Manager for the Commercial Team DACH is responsible for generating and closing new business opportunities. The objective of this role is to achieve sales targets and maximize sales volume with assigned accounts, while exceeding customer expectations and creating long-term value for the client. The Enterprise Account Manager plays a key role by developing strong relationships with customer contacts at an executive level to gain insight into business imperatives and IT drivers, enabling the development of a strategy to sell Trend Micro solutions in this highly competitive security sales environment.
The Responsibilities
- Sell the organization’s solutions and/or services through a consultative selling approach and maintain good relationships with key individuals within named accounts.
- Drive quarterly business reviews with selected customers to ensure value from Trend Micro investment and ensure customers are kept up to date with Trend Micro product roadmaps, enabling the customers to plan and mitigate risks to their business.
- Develop strategies and orchestrate company resources to maximize sales volume within assigned accounts.
- Effectively engage and build cooperative relationships with sales resources: SE, Channel, Specialist sales team, and executives as required.
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline and ensure full compliance with all internal processes.
- Provide accurate forecasts and reports on activity and sales performance as and when required by management.
- Fluent in both written and spoken German and English.
- Strong in verbal and written communication skills.
- Results-oriented with a passion for over-achieving sales targets.
- Self-driven and highly motivated.
- Proven track record of sales experience in the high-tech industry (preferably software) developing strategic customer relationships.
- Experience in selling to midsize market customers/Named Accounts
- High levels of achievement against quota and experience selling to executive-level customers, preferably in the high-tech industry.
- Proven ability to articulate a portfolio sale across products, solutions, and services.
- Demonstrated strong sales skills and high level of technical and business acumen in both our industry and the industry being sold into.
- Demonstrated breadth and depth of knowledge acquired through exposure to complex business situations.
- Proven success in a field sales role.
- Direct field experience in working with end-user accounts.
- Confident in approaching and dealing with C-level contacts
- A demonstrated ability to execute and deliver results.
- The ability to create demand through targeted questions that uncover pain points
- Knowledge of and regular use of proven sales methodologies (e.g., SPIN, Challenger, MEDDPICC)
