Position Overview
We are looking for a high-impact Account Executive to lead Toka’s expansion across the United Kingdom.
This is a unique role requiring a trusted insider profile – someone who understands the UK government, intelligence, and national security ecosystem from within, and can translate that experience into meaningful commercial success.
The ideal candidate has a background in UK intelligence or security organizations (e.g., GCHQ, MI5, MI6, Defense Intelligence, NCSC, or equivalent), combined with proven B2G sales success – ideally in a high-growth startup or scale-up environment.
This is not a standard sales role.
We are looking for someone who has been inside the system and knows how it really works – someone who understands national security, intelligence environments, and government decision-making not from the outside… but from experience.

- Own and build Toka’s presence across the UK market
- Open doors that others simply can’t
- Drive and close complex, high-trust deals in intelligence and government environments
- Operate independently in a market where credibility is everything
- Work cross-functionally with leadership, product, and technical teams to bring the right solutions to the right buyers
- Build a market where we are still underpenetrated

- Sell solutions that directly impact national security and real-world operations

- Native-level English; additional languages are a plus
- Must be based in the UK
- Background working within or closely alongside UK intelligence, national security, law enforcement, or defence organisations
- Proven track record in B2G / government sales – ideally at a startup or scale-up
- Strong record of closing complex, high-value deals
- Deep familiarity with UK government and public sector structures, procurement processes, and intelligence/security agencies
- Strong network within relevant UK agencies – a credible insider, not just someone who sells into the market
- Ability to obtain and maintain UK security clearance (SC or DV level preferred)
- Willingness to travel within the UK and occasionally across Europe
- Experience in cybersecurity or intelligence technologies
- Familiarity with Crown Commercial Service (CCS) frameworks, G-Cloud, or other UK public sector procurement routes
- Experience working with resellers, channel partners, or system integrators
- Background combining operational and commercial experience (e.g. served in intelligence or defence, then moved into tech sales)
