Java Senior Developer/ Technical Analyst

At Tieto, we are looking for a Java Senior Developer / Technical Analyst to join our team and contribute to the evolution and maintenance of enterprise Java applications.

We are seeking a motivated professional with solid experience in Java enterprise environments and application architecture, eager to work in an innovative, collaborative, and fast-paced technological environment. In this role, you will participate in both technical and functional activities throughout the full software development lifecycle, contributing to the analysis, design, development, and coordination of corporate solutions.

You will work closely with technical teams and clients, supporting the implementation of scalable architectures, REST services, and modern Java-based applications while ensuring high-quality and maintainable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional and technical analysis of business requirements
• Estimate efforts and support technical planning activities
• Design application architectures and technical solutions
• Develop and maintain enterprise Java applications
• Implement and consume REST services
• Develop solutions based on MVC architecture and microservices
• Create and execute testing plans
• Participate in client meetings and requirement gathering sessions
• Coordinate and follow up on technical tasks
• Support deployments and evolutionary maintenance activities

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Java Developer or Technical Analyst in enterprise environments
• Strong knowledge of Java (Java 6 onwards)
• Hands-on experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot
• Experience with Hibernate and REST services
• Solid understanding of MVC architecture and microservices
• Experience with frontend technologies such as JavaScript, JSP, JSF, and AJAX
• Experience working with Eclipse, Git, Apache Tomcat, and SQL / SQL Developer
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience interacting directly with clients and gathering requirements
• Autonomous, organized, and collaborative mindset
• Experience working in agile environments and cross-functional teams
• Technical vision and ability to contribute to architectural decisions

Nice to Have

• Experience with React
• Experience modernizing legacy applications
• Knowledge of cloud architectures and container technologies
• Experience with continuous integration and DevOps best practices
