Job Brief


We are seeking an experienced Sales Account Manager to drive and manage account-based sales activities for Automotive SoC, MCU, NPU, and Network SoC products in the automotive market. This position plays a key role in expanding Telechips’ automotive semiconductor business in Japan, building strong relationships with Japanese OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and local partners, while collaborating closely with global teams.


Roles & Responsibilities


  • Drive promotion and design-win activities for Automotive SoC, MCU, NPU, and Network SoC products with OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers and solution partners.
  • Develop and execute account strategies from opportunity identification through mass production.
  • Manage customer projects from launch to completion, ensuring alignment with FAEs and HQ R&D teams.
  • Coordinate internal resources to meet customer milestones, technical requirements, and delivery schedules.
  • Conduct customer meetings and presentations (online and offline), Techday exhibition to strengthen relationships and secure business.
  • Maintain accurate demand forecasting and pipeline visibility for sales planning.
  • Provide market insights and competitive analysis to HQ for strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with sales agents and local partners to maximize market penetration.
  • Report sales activities and progress, voice & requirements of customer to the leader.


Requirements


  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with global teams.
  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
  • Experience or strong interest in automotive electronics or semiconductor industry.
  • Understanding and interesting of Japanese business culture and relationship-building practices.


Preferred Qualifications


  • Comfortable using English for emails, documents, and meetings.
  • Sales or account management experience with OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, or SoC / MCU vendors
  • Familiarity with design-in activities and automotive program lifecycles.
  • Experience in multicultural or global environments.
