AP Specialist - Finance and Accounting Opportunity

Hybrid schedule after 6 months (2-3 days per week remote)
Position Responsibilities
- Prepares invoices/credits from vendors for payment by:
- Verifying accuracy through written approvals
- Researching variances
- Analyzing exception issues to determine correct resolution
- Communicating effectively with internal and external resources for information
- Manual processing
- Investigates and resolves problems associated with processing of invoices and purchase orders related to product costing
- Researches and resolves distribution center shipment receipts against invoice costing
- Reconciles vendor account statements and maintains open transaction tracking for audit
- Assists Accounts Payable Manager/Supervisor to identify and implement process improvements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); At least two years of related experience or training in a high-volume accounts payable role; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong computer skills; including proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred.
- Ability to consistently follow company standard operating procedures.
- Ability to do repetitive work and work under tight deadline pressures.
- Ability to maintain organized work processes, materials, and files.
