Job Summary
The Account Executive will be responsible for managing customer credit, ensuring credit approval processes are followed, monitor receivables and support overall accounting functions including reconciliations, compliance, and financial reporting activities. This role requires a proactive approach to credit management and analysis to support the financial health of the organization.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the credit approval process for new and existing clients.
- Assess customer creditworthiness and recommend credit limit.
- Implement and maintain effective credit control measures to minimize risk.
- Ensure adherence to credit terms and block transactions if required
- Maintain customer-wise credit limit and exposure tracker
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any credit-related issues.
- Prepare reports on credit management activities and present findings to management.
- Identify high-risk or defaulting customers
- Support in GST-related workings (output tax reconciliation, etc.)
- Assist in TDS tracking and reconciliation
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities
- 2-3 years of experience in credit management, credit analysis, or a related role.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and credit management software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
The successful candidate will be expected to meet or exceed performance metrics related to credit approval turnaround times, client satisfaction scores, and overall credit risk management.
