Job Responsibilities

We’re looking for a Global Account Manager to grow and strengthen strategic multinational accounts across Europe. The successful candidate will serve as Indium Corporation's lead sales contact, responsible for sourcing new global business opportunities, implementing effective sales strategies, interfacing with customers' senior management, and coordinating with cross-functional teams (Sales, R&D, Product Management, Technical Support, Operations, Quality and Logistics) to win new business and expand share at existing customers. The role includes aligning global strategy with regional execution, managing risk, and providing clear business insight and forecasting to senior leadership.


Job Functions

  • Develop strategic plans for focus accounts, including organisation mapping.
  • Build trusted relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in current and target accounts to increase Indium Corporation product preference.
  • Liaise between the Global Accounts Team, Regional Sales and internal functions to coordinate resources needed to close business.
  • Identify and use AVLs with short-term win potential.
  • Identify mid- and long-term target opportunities.
  • Support Global Sales in developing business across the Americas, Europe, and Asia Pacific.
  • Develop a relationship database to share with all sales personnel.
  • Generate target segments, customer leads, and competitive insight through market research and integrated sales/marketing activity.
  • Support the forecasting process.
  • Network with relevant industry players to gather market information and enable partnerships.
  • Direct responsibility for focus accounts; may include account coordination in addition to account management, as needed.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 3+ years’ relevant experience in a commercial/account management role (electronics/power electronics preferred).
  • Technical aptitude.
  • Personable individual who is a skilled communicator and negotiator.
  • Strong organisational, management, and presentation skills.
  • Competence with CRM and analytics tools, plus proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Willingness to travel frequently, sometimes at short notice.
