Rescue 42 is searching for a Regional Account Executive in the Midwest region of the U.S. to join our dynamic team and make an impact in an exciting industry of deployable telecommunications!

About the Role

The Regional Account Executive’s role focuses on driving revenue growth through building and maintaining relationships with direct customers, carrier representatives, and channel partners. Successful Account Executives will take the initiative to develop and implement creative sales strategies through proactive outreach, including calls, emails, virtual and in-person product demos, and strategic lead follow-ups.


Responsibilities

  • Create and implement opportunities to present products and services independently and in partnership with carriers/channel partners
  • Build and maintain revenue generating relationships within the assigned territory while ensuring growth
  • Represent Rescue 42 at conferences, tradeshows, and strategic regional events
  • Serve as a subject matter expert of Rescue 42 products
  • Maintain knowledge of competing products and industry trends
  • Identify grants and alternative funding resources available to customers
  • Leverage existing customer relationships to solicit additional products
  • Conduct both on-site and off-site training, maintenance, and product demonstrations
  • Utilize lead sources to pursue opportunities
  • Provide strategic account follow-up in a timely and relevant manner
  • Maintain prompt and accurate records of all customer activity within the CRM (Salesforce) database
  • Provide regular reporting of account updates, sales activity, and scheduled events
  • Ensure timely submission of expense reports and completion of administrative tasks to maintain accurate records and support seamless operations


Qualifications

  • Five (5) years of progressive B2B sales experience in telecommunication, wireless infrastructure, satellite communications, or related industry
  • Experience presenting technical solutions and conducting product demonstrations to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 75% of the time, including overnight travel, trade shows, and customer site visits
  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle, and active auto insurance in good standing
  • Possess valid documentation that permits domestic air travel, such as REAL ID compliant drivers license or a valid passport


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Existing relationships within telecom carriers, public safety agencies, government entities, or enterprise IT organizations
  • Experience working with public funding, grants, or government procurement processes
  • Salesforce reporting experience

  • Demonstrated ability to self-manage priorities in a fast-paced, field-based sales environment
  • Strong executive-level communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation) with the ability to influence decision-makers
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn and articulate complex hardware/software solutions
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret customer needs, sales data, and market trends to drive strategy


Pay range and compensation package

Salary: $90,000/year + commission opportunity for total compensation up to $186,000/year
