What You Will Be Doing
The Lead Account Manager is responsible for delivering best-in-class client experiences when working with The Collective. The Lead Account Manager will strive to deliver fantastic customer service to drive client satisfaction and renewals. Acting as the primary day-to-day contact for Collective clients, the Lead Account Manager will work to deliver strategic, data-driven upsell opportunities to clients while also ensuring seamless execution of programming, ensure on time launches and exceptional execution of Annual Plans.
Travel up to 15%
The position will be based in Boise, Idaho, Fullerton CA, Pleasanton CA, Plano TX, Itasca IL, or New York City, NY
Main Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor by leading status calls, managing deadlines, and ensuring on‑time campaign launches.
- Identify in‑flight and post‑campaign upsell opportunities to drive renewal and partnership growth.
- Champion the Voice of the Customer to help shape a best‑in‑class Retail Media Network.
- Maintain accurate CRM hygiene for post‑IO processes to ensure reliable revenue tracking.
- Partner with Client Partners to develop materials for T2T, QBRs, and educational sessions.
- Support merchandising teams as a Category Captain to align media and category strategies.
- Mentor Account Managers and cross‑functional team members to elevate team performance.
- Apply a customer‑centric mindset with deep category understanding to deliver exceptional service.
- Analyze and interpret data to deliver wrap reporting, insights, and upsell recommendations.
- Monitor client health, mitigate churn risks early, and ensure seamless engagement across the full campaign lifecycle.
- 6 plus years of Media/Retail/Account Management Experience
- Exceptional organization and process development skills
- Exceptional ability to story tell with data
- Proven ability to foster partnerships with merchandizing teams
