Job Summary
The Key Account Manager creates and develops sales opportuinites in the territory by promoting all products available in our division portfolio.
This position requires developing strong relationships with customers and good communication with all areas while simultaneously following the marketing actions provided by headquarters for the actual portfolio.
Responsible for identifying and managing the relationship between the Key Decision Makers (in hospitals, private laboratories, region & health administrations) and the Company.
Key Accountabilities
- Responsible for sales in the territory (Hungary + part of Budapest)
- Focuses the actions on Value Selling
- Maintains the assigned budget
- Provides a sales forecast at each Sales Meeting; must be able to give an in-depth review of each account on the presented forecast.
- Promotes and sells to customers Werfen麓s full portfolio
- Ensures that new accounts place a standing order as soon as possible and that Werfen products are used to the maximum extent
- Prepares visits to customers and coordinates with headquarter any support needed
- Manages the relationship between the company and the KDM, KOL
- Applies the business strategy defined for each business line
- Provides technical training to customers showing how to use our products
- Ensures familiarity with our Quality System and following relevant procedures
- Gives presentations to customers
- Understands advantages and disadvantages of Werfen麓s portfolio to better position ourselves against competitors
- Articulates the Company鈥檚 resources (scientific manager, technical support) for specific projects and problem resolution
- Maintains regular communications with our staff on any problem or advantage related to our portfolio or related to our competitors
- In conjunction with the Scientific Manager ensures that new systems are installed efficiently and brought into routine use as quickly as possible
- Provides regular information related to open and future possibilities (those to be closed within 12 months)
- Resolves conflicts/problems that arise with customers
- Maintains a great network of valuable customers

Minimum Knowledge & Experience required for the position:
- Education: BA or BS in Biology, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Medicine or Pharmacy.
- Experience: Previous sales experience
- Previous work experience in medical devices business is valued (in the same clinical area and same commercial area would be a plus)
- Demonstrated experience and a track record of success in sales of medical devices products
Additional Skills/Knowledge:
- Knowledge of main areas of business
- Language: Hungarian (C1/C2), English (B2/C1)
