Senior Java Developer (Business Automation & AI)

HR Mango is seeking a Senior Java Developer with 3–5 years of experience for a client in SLC, UT. This individual will support business automation systems, AI chatbot infrastructure, and modernization of legacy documentation into AI-powered knowledge bases.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain business rules using Drools and migrate workflows to Kogito microservices
- Build AI chatbot and AWS Bedrock knowledge base solutions
- Create ETL pipelines to convert Adobe RoboHelp content into Markdown/Vector formats stored in Amazon S3
- Develop REST APIs using Spring Boot or Quarkus
- Deploy and manage applications in Kubernetes/OpenShift environments
Required Skills
- 3–5 years of Java experience (Java 8/11/17+)
- Experience with Spring Boot or Quarkus
- Hands-on experience with Drools, DMN, and Kogito
- AWS Bedrock and Amazon S3 experience
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience converting legacy documentation into structured formats for AI use
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with vector databases (OpenSearch, Pinecone, Milvus)
- Python scripting knowledge
- BPMN 2.0 understanding
- AWS certifications preferred
