Job Description
The Marketing Project Manager will be responsible for managing multiple concurrent marketing initiatives and ensuring timely, high-quality delivery. Key responsibilities include:
- Lead end-to-end project management for marketing programs, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as Product Management, Finance, Digital Experience, Platform, and Revenue Marketing
- Partner with project sponsors and stakeholders to define scope, deliverables, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and business goals
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, from concept through completion, in a fast-paced environment
- Identify dependencies, risks, and opportunities across projects and proactively drive resolutions
- Establish workflows and optimize processes to improve efficiency and enhance team execution
- Monitor project budgets and performance, ensuring accountability to defined objectives
- Prepare and communicate clear, concise status updates and progress reports to stakeholders
- Support the evolution of marketing project management practices, including governance, standards, and operational improvements
- Evaluate and simulate process improvements within the PMO, identifying gaps and implementing solutions prior to execution
- Foster a collaborative environment that encourages transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Apply core marketing knowledge, including go-to-market (GTM) strategy and campaign activation, to support successful execution
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience, with 5+ years in project or program management
- Proven ability to manage multiple cross-functional projects and drive them through to completion
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and execute tactically
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working in fast-paced, highly collaborative, and matrixed environments
- Demonstrated ability to influence and connect across teams and stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accountability for results
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Wrike, Asana, or Smartsheet
- Ability to quickly adapt, learn, and remain flexible while maintaining a positive and solutions-oriented mindset
- High level of integrity, with the confidence to raise concerns and advocate for best outcomes
- Experience supporting marketing teams, with an understanding of campaign execution and go-to-market strategies
- Background in technology, SaaS, or industries related to construction, engineering, or infrastructure
- Experience working within a Project Management Office (PMO) or contributing to operational process improvements
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and influence without direct authority
- Demonstrated ability to anticipate challenges and proactively address them
