Our client is Australia's #1 ranked Managed Service Provider, a scaled, credentialed business trusted by SMB and mid-market organisations to run their technology environments end-to-end. Cloud, cybersecurity, Microsoft Modern Workplace, AI/Copilot — they cover the full stack with genuine delivery capability to back it up.
This is an account management role with development upside. You'll own a portfolio of 25–30 established SMB to lower-enterprise accounts, focusing on retention, renewal, and expansion — with the freedom to hunt opportunistic new logos when the right relationships surface. Multiple capability areas mean genuine whitespace to grow; this isn't defending a static product set.

What you'll be doing
→ Leading QBRs, maintaining account plans, and staying ahead of renewals across your portfolio
→ Hunting expansion across managed services, cloud, Microsoft, cybersecurity, and AI/automation within existing accounts
→ Running commercial negotiations on contract changes, scope, and pricing within defined guardrails
→ Acting as senior escalation point for your customers when issues need resolution
→ Opportunistically pursuing new logo acquisition when warm introductions and referrals emerge
What we're looking for
5–7 years in ICT or MSP account management — up-and-coming talent, not senior veterans. Genuine technical knowledge across at least two of: Managed Services, Cloud, Cybersecurity, or Microsoft. A track record of growing SMB/mid-market accounts in multi-stakeholder environments. Commercially sharp, pipeline-disciplined, and based in Sydney.
