What You’ll Do
- Lead macOS app development, architecture, performance, deployment, and long-term scalability.
- Own the quality bar: profiling, debugging, optimizing for speed and stability.
- Ensure compatibility across managed environments, including MDM and restricted setups.
- Collaborate closely with backend and data teams to integrate APIs and improve system reliability.
- Guide and mentor team members and other developers, helping elevate the overall engineering craft.
- Build for the edge cases, from sandboxing and permissions to enterprise deployments.
- Contribute to our CI/CD and testing practices, ensuring smooth builds and updates.
- Expert in Swift and macOS app development, with a deep grasp of Apple frameworks, security, and system design.
- Proven experience in profiling, debugging, and performance optimization across varied Mac environments.
- Comfortable working in managed device contexts (MDM), understanding sandboxing, permissions, and deployment constraints.
- Familiar with API integrations, backend collaboration, and maintaining reliable interfaces.
- A stickler for detail, you notice inconsistencies others miss and care deeply about polish.
- Experience with SwiftUI and Catalyst for cross-platform work is a strong plus.
- Knowledge of Django REST Framework or similar backend stacks.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated macOS testing.
- Experience in security-focused or enterprise-managed environments.
- Familiarity with enterprise compliance and privacy standards.
