Account Manager

The Account Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, working closely with internal teams to support customer success and deliver value across the Ideagen platform suite, including Plant Assessor, OpCentral, OnePlace, Damstra, Mail Manager, and other solutions.
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a portfolio of existing mid‑market customer accounts
- Own the full customer lifecycle, including onboarding, renewals, upselling, and contract expansion
- Identify and execute opportunities for revenue growth through upsell and cross-sell initiatives
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date pipeline data in Salesforce and HubSpot to support forecasting and reporting
- Apply a consultative approach to understand customer needs and align solutions accordinglyAct as a trusted point of contact to support customer retention and long-term success
- Collaborate with Pre‑Sales, Solutions Consultants, and Customer Teams to maximise customer value
- Manage deal negotiations and contract execution in line with commercial guidelines
- Stay informed on product developments and relevant industry trends
- Experience in an Account Manager or similar role, ideally within a SaaS environment
- Experience managing existing accounts with a focus on growth, retention, and customer success
- Strong working knowledge of Salesforce and HubSpot, including pipeline management and forecasting
- Experience running structured sales processes and managing complex deal cycles
- Familiarity with MEDDPIC or similar sales methodologies
- Ability to engage and communicate with stakeholders at multiple levels
- Experience within compliance, governance, or health and safety technology is beneficial but not essential
