In this role you will focus will be to build strong, long-term customer relationships and gain a deep understanding of each customer’s business to provide the most relevant products, solutions, and value.
JOB DUTIES:
- Manage, grow, and nurture long-term relationships with our customers
- Understand customer needs and position ADI solutions that deliver mutual value
- Identify and convert new opportunities—both within existing accounts and from competitors
- You will be responsible for planning appointments and promoting ADI's value proposition to encourage customers to place more business with ADI.
- Customer management from start to finish with the aim of building a sustainable relationship and growing turnover and margin.
- You will identify the market potential and recognise opportunities and threats in the market. You follow developments at competitors and share this information within the organisation.
- You will analyse the sales figures, recognise crucial developments and have a plan on how to achieve the turnover and margin objectives.
- You will have outside/field based sales experience within electronic security industry
- Experienced in B2B sales environment that is fast paced with a high number of SKUs or short sales cycle
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Good planning and organisational skills
- Driving license
- A proficient understanding of key sales principles and best practices
- An ability to take initiative and work with limited direction
- An ability to influence customers, while maintaining healthy relationships
- Commercially astute with an understanding of the dynamics of sales growth, margin and profitability, able to structure deals and work the ADI value proposition
- Excellent opening, negotiating and closing skills
