This role is for an early career broker who is looking to improve their skill set across a range of insurance and non-insurance products for a variety of industries within entertainment and leisure. The candidate is required to be an organized self-starter who is motivated to proactively manage interactions with our clients as part of a team and work to strengthen and grow account relationships.
We will count on you to:
- Develop and maintain effective client relationships by understanding their needs and proactively responding to these needs
- Implement renewal and broking strategies based on client’s needs as required
- Process billing requests and gather information for quotes
- Develop and maintain sound working relationships with insurers and assist with negotiations
- Maintain outstanding renewals, credit control, and other necessary reporting over client portfolio
- Recognize new business opportunities (new or expanded) and act as appropriate on them in a timely manner
- Introduce new products or broader policies as appropriate
- Experience within the Insurance industry
- Good customer service and interpersonal skills
- Clear and effective communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously within a multi-skilled team
- Motivated self-starter focused on achieving results
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to recognize and solve problems and think outside the square
- Ability to work with sensitive and confidential information
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Suite and demonstrated ability to learn new systems quickly
- Tier 1 Insurance Broking qualification or higher
- Willingness to go the extra mile for client satisfaction
