Requirements

• Experience in developing distributed and scalable backend applications
• Experience with Go, Python, or Ruby
• Experience and practice with DevOps culture, with collaboration between development and operations
• Experience with virtualization with containers Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes
• Practice in observability (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, New Relic, Datadog, etc.)
• Knowledge in computer networks and high-scale systems (latency, throughput, contention, congestion, etc.)
• Practical experience in infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform)
• Desirable Requirements: Experience with web servers/reverse proxies (e.g. Nginx, Apache)
• Familiarity with debugging and system optimization tools for embedded systems
• Have operated or used CDN, understanding the advantages, limitations, and security requirements (WAF, authentication tokens, etc.)
• Knowledge of Lua or other embedded languages
• Knowledge of Unix and operating systems (terminal, sysctl, perf, top/htop, concepts of user space x kernel space, interrupts, etc.)
