Our client is looking to hire two Senior Brand Managers for a role based in Austin, TX, with an expectation of being onsite three days per week. They are seeking candidates with experience in or a strong passion for sports nutrition, beverage, or adjacent active nutrition categories, along with a genuine interest in the space demonstrated through either professional experience or personal lifestyle.
Responsibilities:
- Own and execute brand strategy across assigned sports nutrition brands, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives
- Lead end-to-end brand initiatives, including innovation, product launches, and integrated marketing campaigns
- Drive new product development and support a robust innovation pipeline within active nutrition
- Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Insights, Creative, Marketing Operations, and Integrated Marketing to bring initiatives to market
- Influence and align stakeholders across teams without direct authority, ensuring seamless execution
- Analyze sales performance, syndicated data (Nielsen/Circana), and market trends to inform decision-making
- Translate data and insights into actionable strategies that drive growth and brand performance
- Manage budgets effectively, optimizing spend in a scrappy, resource-conscious environment
- Lead projects from concept through execution, ensuring strong organization, communication, and delivery
- Help elevate and evolve brand positioning, storytelling, and consumer engagement
- Balance multiple high-priority initiatives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Candidate Profile:
- 7+ years of CPG brand marketing experience, ideally within sports nutrition, beverage, or health & wellness
- Experience working in scrappy, entrepreneurial environments; able to do more with less
- Strong track record of owning and executing campaigns or initiatives end-to-end
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence teams without direct management responsibility
- Experience partnering closely with Sales and understanding commercial impact
- Comfortable working with data, analytics, and syndicated tools (e.g., Nielsen, Circana or similar)
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Passion or affinity for the active nutrition/wellness space preferred
- Collaborative mindset with strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Blend of creative thinking and data-driven decision-making
- Highly organized, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
