Mission
At Typology, our product roadmap remains deliberately open. We are seeking a Product Developer – Tinted Skincare, SPF & Haircare to shape and expand these categories from formulation to launch and own their performance over time. You will translate customer needs, scientific insights and ingredient opportunities into products that meet our standards: minimal formulas, proven efficacy and complete transparency on every ingredient.
Responsibilities
- Concept development : Build new product concepts based on market analysis, trend research, and portfolio performance data.
- Product development : Lead end-to-end product development in collaboration with R&D, laboratories, and suppliers, from formula development to packaging design and production follow-up.
- Supplier management : Manage relationships with laboratories, packaging, and raw material suppliers, ensuring quality, timelines, and cost targets are met.
- Content : Write product pages and editorial advice articles in line with Typology's scientific positioning.
- Performance monitoring : Track post-launch performance and iterate based on data and customer feedback.
- Go-to-market : Coordinate the 360° launch plan with press, influence, acquisition, digital merchandising, and customer support teams.
- New product concepts launched on time and within scope.
- Product page quality and conversion metrics meeting defined targets.
- Supplier and development timelines respected across active projects.
- Post-launch performance reviewed regularly with clear action plans.
- Customer satisfaction maintained or improved for managed categories.
- Product development : 3–5 years of experience in cosmetic product development, with a strong understanding of the full development process from concept to launch.
- Concept creation : ability to translate market trends and data into commercially viable product ideas.
- Project management : structured and autonomous, able to drive complex multi-stakeholder projects end to end.
- Performance & analytics : comfortable analyzing product performance, customer feedback, and key KPIs to inform product decisions and optimize launches
- Attention to detail : rigorous, with a strong focus on quality and customer experience at every stage.
- Communication & negotiation : solid interpersonal skills and experience managing suppliers and internal stakeholders.
You are hands-on and comfortable in a fast-paced environment with real ownership. You can move seamlessly from a development brief to a cross-functional launch plan while keeping the end customer in mind.
