Job Description
Our client is seeking a senior commercial leader to drive revenue growth within a Real-World Evidence portfolio. This individual will bring a strong track record of owning the full sales cycle, building executive-level relationships across pharmaceutical and biotechnology organizations, and leading complex commercial engagements. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who can identify client needs, align evidence-based solutions to business objectives, and work cross-functionally with clinical, scientific, and delivery teams to support long-term account growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and deliver against annual revenue targets within the Real-World Evidence portfolio
- Lead the full sales cycle including prospecting, opportunity development, proposal creation, negotiation, and close
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline with accurate forecasting and disciplined pipeline management
- Develop and execute strategic account plans across life sciences, healthcare systems, academia, and public sector clients
- Establish and grow executive-level relationships across pharmaceutical and biotechnology organizations
- Identify client needs and align evidence-based solutions to support clinical, regulatory, and commercial objectives
- Lead complex commercial discussions and contracting processes
- Partner closely with clinical, scientific, and delivery teams to ensure alignment between commercial strategy and execution
- Translate client objectives into clearly defined commercial opportunities with appropriate scientific rigor
- Maintain ongoing commercial oversight post-sale to support client satisfaction and long-term growth
- Identify opportunities for account expansion and cross-sell across broader solution offerings
- Support a coordinated enterprise approach across accounts to ensure a consistent client experience
- Communicate a strong understanding of data governance, privacy, and compliance within all engagements
- Ensure seamless transition from sales to delivery teams while maintaining accountability for account growth
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Advanced degree (MSc, MPH, PharmD, PhD, MBA) preferred
- 5+ years of experience in real-world evidence, HEOR, life sciences consulting, CRO, healthcare analytics, or related commercial roles
- Proven track record of owning full sales cycle and achieving revenue targets
- Experience selling complex, data-driven or evidence-based solutions
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical and biotechnology environments
- Familiarity with healthcare regulatory and compliance frameworks
- Established relationships within life sciences organizations considered an asset
- Strong commercial acumen with a consultative, solution-oriented sales approach
- Ability to translate scientific and technical capabilities into clear business value
- Executive presence with strong communication and negotiation skills
- Strategic mindset with the ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder accounts
- Highly organized with disciplined pipeline and forecast management
- Collaborative approach with the ability to work cross-functionally
- Results-driven with a focus on accountability and performance
Benefits
- Expected Salary: $135,000 - $150,000
