Senior Account Manager
As a Digital Account Manager at Flight, you act as the strategic connector between our clients and our cross-functional teams, ensuring clarity, alignment, and measurable performance at every stage of the partnership. You will lead day-to-day client relationships while helping shape digital ecosystems that scale content, commerce, and growth.
Flight partners with ambitious brands and purpose-led organisations to build high-performing digital experiences including websites, apps and digital marketing campaigns. In this role, you balance strategic thinking with commercial accountability, guiding discovery, developing digital roadmaps, and ensuring our work delivers meaningful customer experience impact. Working closely with Client Services, Delivery, and our craft leads across Strategy, Design, Technology, and Performance, you bring structure, insight, and care to every engagement.

Client Partnership & Leadership
- Act as the primary point of contact across your portfolio, building trusted long-term partnerships
- Lead WIPs, quarterly reviews, and strategic presentations with clarity and confidence
- Translate client ambition into clear briefs and actionable next steps
- Represent client priorities internally while aligning with delivery realities and commercial goals
Digital Ecosystem & Delivery Oversight
- Guide projects and retainers from discovery through to launch and optimisation
- Ensure platforms are delivered on time, on scope, and aligned to measurable performance outcomes
- Work closely with Delivery to maintain resource visibility and workflow control
- Support structured handovers between phases, from strategy to design, build, and performance
Commercial & Growth Ownership
- Track budgets, profitability, and commercial health across accounts
- Identify opportunities to expand capability, from performance optimisation to platform evolution
- Support proposal development, scoping, and digital roadmap planning
- Contribute to portfolio forecasting and revenue planning
Insight & Performance Integration
- Translate analytics, SEO insights, and audience behaviour into strategic recommendations
- Connect conversion, experience, and performance thinking so digital ecosystems operate as one system
- Collaborate with Performance, Design, and Technology teams to turn insight into experimentation and optimisation
Cross-Team Collaboration
- Partner with Strategy, Design, Tech, and Performance to connect ambition with execution
- Support briefing, QA, and delivery reviews to maintain clarity and quality
- Communicate proactively to create alignment and momentum across teams
Mentorship & Team Contribution
- Support and guide junior Account Managers and Coordinators
- Contribute to internal frameworks, playbooks, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Champion best-practice digital account leadership across the business
