Delivery Lead / Account Manager – Japan (Bilingual)


Tokyo-based | Hybrid Working


Our client is a global technology and defence organisation delivering complex digital, cyber, and national security programmes across government and enterprise environments. As part of continued growth in Japan, they are looking for a bilingual Delivery Lead / Account Manager to act as the bridge between Japanese customers and international delivery teams.

This is a hybrid role sitting across account management, project delivery, stakeholder engagement, and operational coordination. You’ll work closely with technical teams, customers, and senior stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered effectively while helping identify future opportunities across strategic accounts.

You do not need to be deeply technical, but you must be comfortable operating in complex technology environments and managing multiple stakeholders across cultures and time zones.


What you’ll be doing

  • Acting as the key interface between Japan-based customers and overseas delivery teams
  • Supporting the successful delivery of technology and consulting projects across Japan
  • Managing customer relationships and coordinating ongoing account activity
  • Supporting visiting project and technical teams with logistics, coordination, and interpretation where required
  • Translating technical and commercial material between Japanese and English
  • Identifying opportunities for additional work across existing customer accounts
  • Coordinating events, customer engagements, and operational activities in Japan
  • Working closely with programme managers, business development, and technical delivery teams internationally


What we’re looking for

  • Experience in account management, project management, programme delivery, or consulting
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across enterprise or government environments
  • Bilingual Japanese and English communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Experience working within technology, digital, cyber, defence, engineering, or consulting environments
  • Ability to work autonomously within a growing international business
  • Commercial awareness and strong organisational skills


Highly regarded

  • Experience working with government or defence customers in Japan
  • Exposure to cyber security, digital transformation, space, communications, or complex technology programmes
  • Understanding of Japanese government procurement or delivery environments
