Strategic Account Manager – Aerospace EMEA
JBAndrews is partnered with a leading international logistics provider seeking a Strategic Account Manager to drive growth across the Aerospace sector in EMEA.
This is a senior commercial role focused on expanding business with major aerospace OEMs, subsidiaries, and Tier 1 / Tier 2 supplier networks, with a particular focus on production logistics, inbound logistics, spare parts, and value-added supply chain solutions.
The business has a strong heritage in complex manufacturing logistics, supporting customers with warehousing, distribution, production supply, sequencing, packaging, spare parts logistics, and value-added services across highly demanding industrial environments. Its aerospace proposition is built around secure, documented, digitally controlled, and process-reliable supply chain solutions.
The Opportunity
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strategic customer relationships across the Aerospace sector in EMEA, with a clear mandate to build pipeline, open doors, and convert opportunities across key buying centres.
This is not a maintenance-only account role. It is a growth mandate. The role will focus on identifying and developing opportunities with major aerospace manufacturers, subsidiaries, and supplier networks, while coordinating internal solution design, operations, legal, controlling, HR, and regional teams to deliver commercially viable logistics solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic account plans across the Aerospace sector in EMEA, with a particular focus on Airbus, its subsidiaries, and Tier 1 / Tier 2 supplier networks.
- Build senior relationships across procurement, logistics, production, and supply chain decision-makers, identifying new business opportunities across inbound logistics, production logistics, spare parts, warehousing, and value-added services.
- Lead the full sales process from opportunity identification through quotation, negotiation, contract award, and internal coordination with solution design, OPEX, controlling, HR, legal, and operations.
- Act as a strategic market expert, monitoring aerospace logistics trends, competitor activity, supply chain developments, and representing the business at customer meetings, trade fairs, and industry events across EMEA.
- Bring strong experience in aerospace logistics, ideally across inbound logistics, production logistics, spare parts, or manufacturing-related logistics, combined with proven strategic account management, business development, or senior sales experience.
- Demonstrate an existing network across leading Aerospace organizations, its subsidiaries, and/or Tier 1 / Tier 2 aerospace suppliers, with strong commercial, negotiation, stakeholder management, English and French language skills; German would be advantageous.
Why This Role
- Senior EMEA mandate focused on one of the most attractive logistics verticals in the market
- Clear strategic importance, with the business aiming to grow Aerospace to at least 10% of total revenue
- Opportunity to build a vertical, not simply inherit an account list
- Strong platform in complex manufacturing logistics, value-added services, and production-related supply chain solutions
