About The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager to join our dynamic Benelux Sales team. In this key commercial role, you will help drive growth within the water and wastewater market in Flanders, strengthening customer relationships and delivering tailored technical solutions across our rotating equipment portfolio.

Your Main Tasks And Responsibilities
- Develop and grow the customer base by nurturing existing relationships and actively acquiring new customers.
- Meet sales and order‑intake targets in line with market expectations and business objectives.
- Provide accurate technical advice and select the right products for applications within your region.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and pricing decisions to support successful commercial outcomes.
- Conduct effective lead qualification in close collaboration with relevant internal teams.
- Serve as the primary internal point of contact for your customers and translate their needs clearly within the organization.
- Execute timely follow‑up of leads, pipelines, and quotations while maintaining accurate CRM data (Salesforce).
- Participate in customer meetings, internal order reviews, and relevant training programs.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues across departments in line with Sulzer’s values, ensuring a consistent and high‑quality customer experience.
- A bachelor’s or Masters degree in a relevant technical field.
- 3–5 years of experience in sales or service within rotating machinery or a comparable industrial environment.
- A strong commercial mindset paired with a service‑oriented, optimistic, and proactive approach.
- Fluency in Dutch and English; French is an advantage.
- Good MS Office skills; experience with Salesforce is beneficial.
- Willingness to travel within Flanders to visit customers and partners.
- Ability to communicate clearly, manage multiple priorities, and build trust with both internal and external stakeholders.
