Supports the sales organization across in the professional lighting segment (Trade, Project or System Integrators, etc.)
The role focuses on customer engagement, opportunity identification, and proposal support, helping drive profitable growth under the guidance of the Sales Manager or Commercial Channel Leader.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- This role is responsible for sales execution with a short-term and medium-term orientation
- Delivers assigned financial targets and executes sales plans within the assigned territory, achieving revenue, volume, and distribution targets.
- Establishes strong customer intimacy and nurtures relationships with key customer contacts through frequent and productive sales visits. Supports customers with queries and ensures prompt response to customers' needs and issues.
- Manages customers offer performance
- Closely collaborates with relevant KAM's and cross-functional Signify team (Supply Chain, Marketing, Customer Service, etc) to ensure product availability and smooth execution.
- In the project business, builds relationships with contractors, consultants, and project partners to promote Signify solutions. This role is primarily responsible for managing projects and ensuring timely execution.
- In the distribution business, this role is primarily responsible for securing solid sell-out from the sales outlets located within a given sales territory - e.g. local wholesale branches. Supports trade marketing programs, promotions, and product launches to drive sell-out growth.
- Maintains accurate opportunity tracking in CRM, ensuring visibility on pipeline health and conversion progress.
- Actively develops and maintains up-to-date knowledge of Signify’s product portfolio, lighting technologies, and value propositions. Continuously builds sales, negotiation, and customer engagement skills through learning initiatives, on-the-job experience, and coaching to enhance overall sales effectiveness and professionalism.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field, providing foundational knowledge in sales principles and customer relationship management.
- Minimum of 8 years of proven experience in sales execution within a relevant industry, demonstrating success in achieving revenue targets, managing customer relationships, and coordinating cross-functional teams.
- No specific licenses required; however, proficiency in sales methodologies certification (e.g. Solution Selling) is essential for effective pipeline management and sales execution.
