A Tier 2 Main Building Contractor is seeking a Design Manager to join their team that is working on several large residential projects -already started and commencing in the following months. Our client has a robust project pipeline for their busiest year yet, delivering diverse developments nationwide. We are looking for a Design Manager with who has worked on large Resi projects in Ireland or the UK previously and we will consider candidates coming from a design office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Report to the Design Director
• Manage the submission and approval process for designs and materials, securing client approvals.
• Proactively address potential design risks by collaborating with the Design Team to devise solutions.
• Create forward-looking project plans.
• Coordinate with project management teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Demonstrate strong scheduling and program management abilities.
• Participate in site meetings, providing updates on project progress.

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• Design management experience with a main contractor or developer is ideal, though candidates from architectural practices or design firms with relevant skills will be considered.
• Background in residential projects
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Proficient in written and verbal communication.

Compensation:

• €80,000–€90,000.
