Community Programs Contractor, EMEA
Indexed description
In-person collaboration is essential to Notion's culture. We require all team members to work from our offices on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, our designated Anchor Days. Certain teams or positions may require additional in-office workdays.
About The Role
Notion's community is one of the most passionate in software, spanning Campus Leaders (CLs), Ambassadors, and Developers. As the EMEA Community Programs [Contractor], you'll be a primary point of contact and help support community-led activities at scale across EMEA.
You'll join the EMEA Marketing team and partner closely with community stakeholders in-region and globally.
Success in this role looks like community members feeling supported, programmes running smoothly, and repeatable processes that make it easier to scale community across markets.
Please note: This is a contractor role based in Dublin, with a hybrid schedule (3 days per week) in the Notion Dublin office.
What You'll Achieve
- Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for our communities, helping remove blockers and keep programmes running smoothly
- Run recurring community nurture motions (e.g. office hours, enablement sessions and resources, lightweight comms cadences) to support healthy engagement across markets
- Enable community-led meetups and moments by supporting logistics, resources, and repeatable playbooks
- Track and report on programme health (participation, satisfaction signals, learnings) and document what’s working to improve processes over time
- Coordinate with the global Community team and EMEA stakeholders to align priorities, share best practices, and continuously improve how we support community in the region
- 1–3+ years of experience in community, programmes, operations, or a related role
- Experience building scalable programmes (systems, automation, documentation)
- Ability to work cross-functionally and with global stakeholders
- Comfort with basic metrics and reporting to evaluate program performance
- Notion power user (you build clear systems and docs and teach others to use them)
- Fluent English (additional EMEA languages a plus, especially French and German)
- You don’t need to be an AI expert, but you’re curious and willing to adopt AI tools to work smarter and deliver better results.
- Experience supporting both online and in-person community initiatives
- Background in fast-moving SaaS environments and/or developer and creator communities
