THE OPPORTUNITY
We are growing fast — and we need driven, relationship-obsessed Account Executives to help us bring our platform to more dealerships across the country. This is a chance to represent a product you'll be proud to sell, backed by a company with deep roots, bold innovation, and a clear vision for where automotive technology is heading.
As an Account Executive at Car Wars, you will own your market. You'll identify new opportunities, build genuine relationships with dealer principals and GMs, guide prospects through a consultative sales process, and help clients get up and running on a platform that genuinely changes how they do business.
This is not a transactional role. You'll be a trusted advisor — part of a company that has earned its reputation deal by deal, dealership by dealership, for over two decades.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Hunt and grow — Identify, prospect, and develop new dealership relationships in your territory through outbound outreach, events, and referrals
- Own the full sales cycle — From first call to signed contract to seamless onboarding, you own the experience
- Present and demo — Deliver compelling, consultative presentations that connect our technology to real dealer pain points and revenue outcomes
- Become the expert — Stay sharp on our product suite including Call Recording, Conversational AI, Agentic AI, Voice Recognition, and CRM integrations — and know how to position each one
- Collaborate cross-functionally — Work closely with our Consulting, Product, and Support teams to ensure every client is set up for success
- Hit your number — Manage a robust pipeline, consistently achieve monthly and quarterly targets, and ramp to full quota pace within your first 90 days
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Proven B2B sales track record — typically at or above $XXX,000+ annual quota, comfortable working in an outbound-driven environment, and a history of closing deals you sourced yourself
- Automotive industry experience is a strong plus — familiarity with dealership operations, the DMS ecosystem, or automotive retail will accelerate your success here
- A consultative selling mindset — you ask great questions, listen deeply, and solve real problems
- Strong communication and presentation skills — you can hold a room with a dealer principal and follow up with a crisp, clear email
- CRM fluency — you keep your pipeline clean and your follow-ups tight with tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar
- Organizational excellence — you manage multiple accounts without dropping balls
- Bachelor's degree preferred — Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field; but what you've accomplished matters more than where you studied
