Role Overview
As the Country Manager , you will own the full P&L and end-to-end sales strategy. You will build the local team, manage key accounts (EPCs, IPPs, distributors), and drive market share growth in one of Europe’s most competitive solar markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Leadership: Define and execute the go-to-market strategy to achieve ambitious annual sales targets for tracking systems and mounting structures.
- Key Account Management: Build and maintain strategic relationships with top EPC contractors, independent power producers (IPPs), and institutional investors in [Country].
- Team Building: Corporate with Global HRBP to Recruit, and develop a local sales team (or act as the core leader for the initial phase).
- Channel & Partner Development: Establish a robust distribution/partner network to maximize market coverage.
- Market Insight: Monitor regulatory changes (e.g., feed-in tariffs, grid codes), competitor activities, and technological trends to inform global strategy.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with HQ R&D, Supply Chain, and Customer Success to ensure project delivery and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven Track Record: Minimum 3-5 years of sales experience in the European solar PV industry, with a strong track record of closing large-scale projects.
- Market Expertise: Deep understanding of the [Country] solar market, regulatory landscape, and key stakeholders (EPCs/IPPs).
- Language Proficiency:
- Germany: Fluent in German and English.
- Spain/Italy/Greece: Fluent in [Spanish/Italian] and English.
