Key Responsibilities
- Know customer business including strategy, size, products, key decision makers, organization, new initiatives, pain points, etc.
- Grow sales in various business segments of the customer.
- Take ownership and accountability for implementing business targets. Leverage internal system for information related to call planning, customer identification and contacts management, account strategy and planning and customer needs follow up. Master the CRM platform and drive customer relationship management activities, using the CRM system to capture prospects, accounts, contacts, contact activities, tasks, opportunities, sales and all other selling activities.
- Drive and develop solid relationships with the customer and actively drive our internal stakeholder relationship with customers at all levels (top-to-top engagement).
- Drive customer solution activities such as opportunity management, customer, innovation, product demonstration, sales calls and sample management.
- Establish and maintain customer intelligence, proactively keep abreast of customer’s organization updates and changes and leading customer strategies. Keep abreast of market, industry and competitor intelligence and trends.
- Meet or exceed sales growth, profitability, pipeline and other business goals. Manage sales forecasting and PPL.
- High integrity and ethical standards, and an excellent role model for the organization.
- Customer-focused, aggressive and results-oriented.
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to establish relationships across organization levels, both internally and externally.
- Team player with demonstrated ability of project management skill.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Curiosity.
- Minimum Bachelor Degree in Fine Chemicals or Chemistry related disciplines
- 8 years or above sales experience in Coatings & Inks field
- Sales professional skills: resourceful, rapport building, customer relationship, presentation skills, negotiation skills, account management skills, account planning and demand forecast, conflict management, etc.
- Commercial knowledge to close the deal and ensure sales transaction.
- Ability to identify the problem & challenges customer facing.
- Rich product and industry knowledge in relative market and related basic technical skills
- Fluent in both Chinese (Mandarin) and English language in oral and written
- Fluent in both spoken and written Chinese and English
