Job Purpose

Overall responsibility for global business development and strategic account management for 3C metal structural parts, precision metal machining, and surface treatment processes (including anodizing, PVD, electroplating, sandblasting, brushing, etc.) in the global 3C consumer electronics, smart hardware, and IoT markets. The role focuses on strategic market penetration and deep account development of major North American customers, including Apple, Microsoft, Google, Amazon, and Meta. This position leads customer qualification, project execution, share-of-wallet expansion, and long-term strategic partnership building, while establishing a global BD team and channel system to drive high-growth and profitability targets in the North American market.


Responsibilities

Global Strategy & North American Key Account Development

  • Develop and execute North American key account strategies and annual breakthrough plans across smartphones, tablets, PCs, VR/AR, wearables, and smart home devices
  • Lead senior-level engagement, supplier qualification, audits, NDA and framework agreements with tier-1 customers
  • Align customer quality systems (IATF16949, ISO9001, RoHS, REACH), cost models, and technical specifications with internal capabilities

Project & Commercial Lifecycle Management

  • Lead RFQ, technical review, prototyping, pilot build, mass production, delivery, and receivables
  • Lead commercial negotiations, pricing strategy, contract risk management, and profitability modeling
  • Manage CRM pipelines, customer data, opportunity tracking, and forecasting

Team & Channel System Development

  • Build and lead North American BD and key account teams
  • Develop and manage agents, integrators, and global partners
  • Coordinate exhibitions, technical forums, and executive customer visits

Industry Insight & Strategic Support

  • Track industry trends, competitors, and regulatory developments
  • Support decisions on technology upgrades, capacity planning, and overseas footprint

Cross-functional Coordination

  • Serve as primary owner for North American key accounts
  • Drive adoption of new processes, materials, and solutions


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in engineering, materials, business or related fields
  • 10+ years in BD/sales/key account management in 3C or metal/surface treatment industries
  • 5+ years North America market experience with at least two tier-1 customers
  • Strong technical understanding of metal machining and surface treatment
  • Team leadership and channel development experience preferred
  • Expertise in supplier qualification, compliance, and commercial management
  • Strategic planning, complex project execution, and cross-cultural communication
  • Proficient in CRM, pipeline management, and executive reporting
  • Fluent business English and Mandarin
  • Strategic, results-driven, resilient, and customer-centric
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and integrity
  • Willing to work across North American time zones and travel frequently
  • Position is based in Shanghai
