Job Overview: Regional Account Manager (RAM) - POS and Display solutions
The Regional Account Manager (RAM) supports the Client Services Director in leading the operational management of assigned client accounts. This role oversees the delivery of the client’s Permanent and Semi-Permanent Display contracts within the region and plays a key role in strengthening partnerships, ensuring flawless execution, and driving sustainable business growth.
The RAM ensures adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and compliance requirements while maintaining agility to adapt to evolving client needs. The role carries accountability for sustaining a healthy regional margin—achieved through accurate forecasting, effective budgeting, and a clear understanding of gross margin performance. Success is defined not only by meeting client expectations but also by ensuring that operations run efficiently and deliver measurable value to the business.
The RAM is expected to collaborate very closely with the Regional A&V Growth Lead Together, they drive the strategic growth agenda for the customer across key regional markets and contribute to the global strategy by delivering innovative, sustainable, and shopper-centric design and activation solutions. Acting as a unified interface between customer stakeholders and internal teams, they ensure strategic alignment, executional excellence, and commercial balance across all in-store marketing and POS initiatives.
The RAM is expected to demonstrate proactive leadership, operational discipline, and commercial acumen, ensuring that client priorities and internal business goals remain in alignment. This includes driving best practices, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and implementing solutions that enhance both service delivery and operational performance.
Primary/Key Responsibilities
Strategic Account Management:
- Collaborate with Client Services Director to develop and implement strategic account plans that achieve both client objectives and internal business goals.
- Initiate and foster strong, long-term relationships with key client stakeholders.
- Oversee the delivery of print and display management projects, ensuring alignment with budget, quality, and timeline expectations.
- Own client contractual commitments and ensure achievement of KPIs.
- Collaborate closely with the A&V Growth Lead to ensure alignment between strategic growth initiatives, shopper-centric design solutions, and regional operational delivery.
- Monitor industry trends, evolving client needs and parther with A&V Growth lead to propose innovative and efficient POS and display solutions.
Leadership and Team Management:
- Provide leadership and mentorship to account teams, ensuring professional development, performance excellence, and accountability.
- Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training of onsite personnel.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and agility, ensuring that client priorities and internal business health remain in balance.
Performance, Reporting and Fianacial Stewardship:
- Ensure adherence to contract compliance, risk management, and sustainability standards.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of key metrics, including Spend & Save, KPI dashboards, and other client deliverables.
- Provide regular performance and financial updates, ensuring that both client and business priorities are considered and addressed.
- Be accountable for maintaining a healthy regional margin through accurate forecasting, effective budgeting, and a strong understanding of gross margin performance.
- Drive cost efficiency by identifying and implementing process improvements, eliminating inefficiencies, and capturing gain share opportunities.
- Ensure margin and performance targets are achieved while balancing operational excellence, client satisfaction, and internal value creation.
Operational Excellence:
- Drive continuous improvement across operations to enhance quality, efficiency, and service delivery.
- Develop account plans in collaboration with internal SMEs to deliver market-specific insights and POS solutions.
- Support sourcing excellence aligned with the defined sustainability agenda.
- Lead market escalations with data-driven analysis, present findings, and execute corrective and preventative action plans.
- Ensure corrective or improvement plans are monitored and delivered on time.
- Maintain operational agility to adapt quickly to changing client needs and market dynamics.
- Ensure internal process discipline and commercial balance to safeguard both client satisfaction and the ongoing health of the business.
