Junior Software Engineer

I’m currently working with a fast-growing fintech / crypto technology business looking to hire a Junior Developer to join their engineering team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys modern backend development, solving complex technical problems, and working within a fast-paced trading technology environment.

The Role

• Maintain and improve internal applications and user interfaces using Rust, C++, and .NET technologies
• Support 24/7 global operations and provide production support
• Collaborate with senior engineers on new technologies, system improvements, and best practices
• Work within an agile, autonomous, and international engineering team

Requirements

• 2–3 years’ commercial development experience
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Strong experience with Rust or C++ (object-oriented programming experience also considered)
• Exposure to low-latency protocols
• Familiarity with .NET is beneficial
• Experience working in Linux environments
• Strong interest in financial markets and blockchain technologies
• Passion for writing clean, scalable, and maintainable code
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have

• Exposure to multithreading, WebSocket/REST APIs, or high-throughput low-latency systems
• Experience within fintech, trading, or crypto environments
