Sales Account Executive

Our client in the golf and racquet apparel industry is seeking a Junior Account Executive / Account Executive to join their growing sales team. This individual will play a key role in managing key accounts, developing new business, and collaborating closely with merchandising and product development teams. This position is ideal for someone who is results-oriented, passionate about the apparel industry, and experienced in selling golf or racquet apparel to national and regional retailers.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow relationships with key wholesale accounts
- Develop new business opportunities and expand the customer base
- Prospect and build relationships with national and regional retailers and e-commerce partners
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth
- Collaborate with internal design and merchandising teams on product development and line planning
- Travel to meet with customers as needed
- Attend industry trade shows and events
- Report directly to senior sales leadership
Qualifications
- Experience in wholesale apparel sales
- Experience managing and selling to major accounts
- Existing relationships with national or large regional retailers and/or e-commerce partners
- Strong network within the golf, racquet, or outdoor apparel industry
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and passionate about the apparel industry
Additional Requirements
- Experience selling men’s and women’s golf or racquet apparel strongly preferred
- Approximately 5+ years of experience preferred (open to slightly less for strong candidates)
- Ability to work 5 days per week in-office
