Our client in the golf and racquet apparel industry is seeking a Junior Account Executive / Account Executive to join their growing sales team. This individual will play a key role in managing key accounts, developing new business, and collaborating closely with merchandising and product development teams. This position is ideal for someone who is results-oriented, passionate about the apparel industry, and experienced in selling golf or racquet apparel to national and regional retailers.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow relationships with key wholesale accounts
  • Develop new business opportunities and expand the customer base
  • Prospect and build relationships with national and regional retailers and e-commerce partners
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth
  • Collaborate with internal design and merchandising teams on product development and line planning
  • Travel to meet with customers as needed
  • Attend industry trade shows and events
  • Report directly to senior sales leadership

Qualifications

  • Experience in wholesale apparel sales
  • Experience managing and selling to major accounts
  • Existing relationships with national or large regional retailers and/or e-commerce partners
  • Strong network within the golf, racquet, or outdoor apparel industry
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and passionate about the apparel industry

Additional Requirements

  • Experience selling men’s and women’s golf or racquet apparel strongly preferred
  • Approximately 5+ years of experience preferred (open to slightly less for strong candidates)
  • Ability to work 5 days per week in-office
